Welcome, and thanks for checking out our website. We offer test preparation classes for the State and City Tests, and SAT standardized admissions exams. Seaver also provides personal tutoring and admissions consulting services. All of our courses feature expert instruction, proven strategies, and small class sizes. Moreover, our course fees are typically less than half of what you can expect to pay for a comparable course at one of the national test preparation companies. 

Seaver Academy offers comprehensive tutoring programs for educational enhancement in Brooklyn, Manhattan Beach, Brighton Beach, Sheepshead Bay, Homecrest, Marine Park, Bensonhurst, and Bay Ridge. We are in our twentieth  year and are proud to state that schools from all over Brooklyn, especially in the Chinese and Koreans Communities refer their students to us for private academic tutoring as well as for test preparation.

Our popular SAT/PSAT Study groups (8 students each) follow the same curriculum that we have taught in our on-site programs Forest Hills High School. Private SAT/PSAT lessons are also available. We are available after school, weekends, evenings as well as throughout the summer months.

I personally have been helping students prepare for entrance exams to specialized school and college since 1984. For many years, I worked for many national test preparation companies.  Then I decided to offer my own test preparation courses, and to do so at a more affordable price. I also felt that it was important to limit class size to no more than 8 people, so that students could receive more individual attention than was possible in a class of 9 or more. I am a retired, licensed, certified, registered teacher and NYU graduate.
